Ziggy Marley - Love Is My Religion

Myspace

So I really just randomly came across this album and gave it a chance and I was really suprised how mellow and relaxin this type of reggae can be. I have thrown this album on a few times and every time I learn something new about what he is trying to say. Its great music to relax to.

Tryad - Listen

So it has been awhile since I have posted, but I have found some sweet shit that most would have never stumbled upon. This site called Jamendo uploads tons of albums free, and also legally. It has alot of weird shit. You can download by bitorrent I believe.

http://tryad.org/index.php

I will try to upload a rar file in the coming day, but for now give a listen on the site!

update

I see alot of sites moving to wordpress or forums or becoming private.

dont worry, I am still here, just have been busy with finishing up the quarter. once down I will post a bunch of albums over the break.

thank you all for taking a stab at the music posted here.

If anyone would like to join in on spreading your love around then shoot me an email!

see you all later,

As Cities Burn - Come Now Sleep

sorry blogger is being gay right now, ill upload album art later.

Rock/Experimental/Alternative

This release is awesome! I never really liked them before, but when I had a chance to browse some tunes I decided to take a chance and lucky me, this band creates the emotional feelings of armor for sleep with a bit of a twist on their own genre. They recently toured with Dredg, good tour, too bad I missed it :(

C'est Le Soleil

Myspace
Ambient/Experimental/Rock

This band reminds me of so many good bands: circa survive, sparta, dredg. its a huge mashup and they make it sound good. This band has been flowing through my head for the past couple days now. good stuff, take a listen on their myspace

you can download all songs off their myspace too!

Emery - I Am Only Man

The Early November - Acoustic EP

Myspace
Acoustic/Emo/Indie

Another Amazing EP. Very catchy lyrics, melodies, and vocals. All songs on are a hit, I can't believe they haven't made it to MTV already. but anyways I hope this band gets more and more recognition as they keep making good tunes.

Great release by one of the oddest groups in hip-hop. Such a chill ass album. perfect for a kickback or just laying around the house.

Animal Collective - Feels

Myspace
Experimental/Alternative/Rock

woah, this album is much better than their lastest release, Strawberry Jam. Has so much more crazy shit going on. alot more of those fun vocals. very interesting band...I would like to see where they go from here and want to see them live!

Tegan and Sara - The Con

Myspace
Alternative/Indie/Rock

Two Identical twins from Canada making some sweet ass tunes. songs are fairly simple, but so catchy, yet so emotionless in sound, but full of that darker, subtle emotion. It gives off this sense that all is lost, but they are finding themselves through their music. They have passion for what they sing for. I would have never thought I would like something this strange, but I guess its the strange that caught my ear.

Thursday - War All The Time

Myspace
Rock/Screamo/Emo

Another world altering album, many will agree with me. This is probably the best release from thursday and took the underground by storm. Alot of bands tried to do what they did, and it just comes out wrong and crap. This album can make you feel really good :D

Cursive - The Ugly Organ

Myspace
Rock/Indie/Alternative

This is a monumental album, I believe this changed alot of peoples outlooks on indie and progressive movements. It was far ahead of its time. Creative as fuck, almost to unique. haha, this album is something amazing. I could never stop listening to it when I first heard it, maybe it will happen to you too.
